40 years of history

Leonardo Trade – the Prata di Pordenone based company specialized in the sale and processing of veneers for two generations – celebrates this year the important anniversary of 40 years of activity. With increasing success.

Founded in 1979 by Carla Marcon and Adriano De Marchi as a small workshop for veneer processing, Leonardo Trade has been able to grow and evolve, to successfully face the many challenges of these four decades.

Denis De Marchi, 42 years old, has been running the company founded by his parents for over twenty years and has expanded the range of services and processes offered by Leonardo Trade over time, creating one of the most complete and structured companies in the world of veneers. Today there are three specialized departments: a department for the sale of parceled veneers, a high-capacity department equipped with the latest generation machinery for cutting, wire and glue slicing, including large-sized veneers, and a low-capacity department for special made-to-measure processing, with a high content of craftsmanship.

Integrated and articulated, Leonardo Trade is a reliable interlocutor on the most diverse market segments, from large series production to contracts, up to the single custom project with special finishes of the highest quality.

As an addition to all this is, there is the Lignis brand, which introduces itself into the world of made in Italy furnishing accessories. The wide range consists of decorative panels, wall clocks, mirrors, coat hangers and a brand new table line, all in real wood, all designed and manufactured in Prata di Pordenone using ancient and particular techniques, such as inlaying and stucco work.

The mix of skills, knowledge and innovation is the base of the continuity of the company that proudly 40 years after its foundation still counts among its workers the first 2 employees hired and among its customers the first 2 companies that began to operate in 1979.
